Over the last several years, I worked at Clemson University’s Sonoco Institute to create Stripe Online, an educational tool for the print industry. It was created in Unity. I shepherded the project from an early prototype phase into full production. It is primarly a web based tool, but it has branches for VR and desktop.


Stripe is a 3D interface that mimics the Flexo printing process. Users can alter images in real time in a way that mirrors the effects of a printing press. Image plates are simulated putting ink on to paper in line, with many effects and defects that a real operator might run into without wasting time or paper!
